Daniel is a Manager, IT Security at Casey’s General Stores, Inc., where he leads enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives within the IT security organization. He is responsible for defining and executing IT risk management strategy, overseeing control governance, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry frameworks. His scope includes SOX, PCI DSS, Third‑Party Risk Management (TPRM), and technology policy, with an emphasis on scalable, repeatable, and risk‑informed security controls.

Daniel partners closely with security engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to translate risk, control gaps, and compliance requirements into effective controls, actionable remediation plans, and measurable outcomes that improve security posture, governance maturity, and operational resilience. He is an RH‑ISAC Champion for the Risk Management Working Group and an active member of ISACA and the FAIR Midwest Chapter, contributing to peer collaboration and modern approaches to cyber risk management.
